Preformed solder strip technology covers two categories: coated solder and uncoated solder, applicable to power semiconductor modules, high-end communication equipment, LED products, SMT assembly and other products. Products can be customized according to customer needs.

TONG FANG roll on preformed pads provide a simple way to increase the amount of solder for assembly applications using solder paste. These rectangular pads do not contain flux, but can rely on the flux in the solder paste for reflow. It is only necessary to place rectangular solder pieces into the solder paste, thus accurately increasing the amount of solder. The whole series of rolled rectangular solder strips can be placed in the standard mounting equipment, and the industry standard mounting process can be used. A variety of solder quantities are available, providing maximum flexibility and cost-effectiveness, as a preformed solder can accurately increase the amount of solder required.

Application:

The amount of solder can be accurately increased by placing the preformed solder strip packed with TONG FANG tape in the solder paste. Only part of the preformed solder pieces need to be contacted with the solder paste, thus greatly improving the flexibility of the operation. The contact between lead-free preformed solder and solder paste shall not be less than 25%, while the contact between lead containing preformed solder and solder paste shall not be less than 10%.

When the air returns, the preformed solder can increase the amount of solder paste by 4 times without over diluting the flux. It can be increased to 10 times when nitrogen returns.
